Okay, a new start ...
Yes, I'm going to switch the language of this journal to English. Sorry for that. I just wrote a long email to a FS guy who asked me, in essence, to write more stuff about myself and where he could find my blog. Hm. I have a bunch of blogs, there's www.alexwichert.com, which is in German, and there are a few friends-only blogs, because, believe me, I can be a nasty ranter and I don't need to spread my nastier sides all over the Internets. :)
As I forgot the login for the *other* LJ I set up, but remembered this, I decided to use my old "official" blog now as an English counterpoint to www.alexwichert.com. I'll try to keep it open, civil, and interesting. Or something.
I'll post a blog entry advertising this one. Sorry to everybody who cannot (or even can) read the old entries. I could have taken it all offline, but that's a ton of work and I don't really have the time. A lot of this is going to be about Fading Suns and/or "me, in English".
I've recently become RedBrick's Line Developer for Fading Suns, under licence from Holistic Design, which still scares me on some level. I'm also a novellist, and a faceless corporate slave (spot the Shadowrun influence).
I'll try and get some more activity about Fading Suns on livejournal started - at the moment I'm friending everybody who has Fading Suns in their interests. You're welcome to friend this journal and listen to me ramble - and comment, obviously.
My "developer's blog" is over at www.fading-suns.com. This place is more "off the cuff" - I'm not quite sure yet what to put in here, but over *there* stuff will be more official.
Expect links to artwork, expect some stuff I posted on forums to crop up here, and you're welcome to comment and start discussions. Please do.
Right - I'm just now editing the chapter "Space Stations" of "Arcane Tech", and am on page 4/14. I'm planning to finish the chapter today, and maybe even the next one, "Church Law" - depending really on how long my brain can hold up.
I'm also currently editing and re-writing my current German novel, and managed to get about 40-45 pages done, depending on how its counted/measured.
And after that, I can't wait to go on holiday to the land of Kiwis and sheep and Lord of the Rings. :)
